Building a Future Together: Join Our Radiothon on June 5th!
For nearly 60 years, the North Peace Seniors Housing Society has been more than just a roof over someone’s head—it’s been a heart for the seniors of Fort St. John. Since 1966, our mission has been simple but vital: providing affordable housing and a vibrant community for those who helped build the very town we live in.
Today, they manage four buildings and 144 units, offering everything from fully independent living to supported units with daily meals. But as our community ages, so do our buildings.
The Big Goal: A New Roof for Building #1
Right now, their biggest challenge is literally over their heads. Building #1 needs a new roof. To keep their residents safe, dry, and comfortable, they need the community’s help to fund this essential infrastructure project. While a roof is a “big ticket” item, the needs of our seniors don’t stop there. From upgrading communal spaces to enhancing the activities that keep their residents connected and active, every dollar raised goes directly toward improving the quality of life for our seniors.
