Bundle up, Fort St. John—it’s time to rally together for one of our community’s most meaningful holiday traditions.
This November 18th, 19th, and 20th, the Moose FM announcers are stepping out of the warm studio and heading outside to Chances Casino. Rain, snow, or sub-zero chill, the crew will be standing outside all day long for a cause dedicated to bringing warmth, comfort, and vital care to patients and families right here in our own backyard.
It’s the 24th Annual Light a Moose, Presented by Chances Casino in support of the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation.
Over Two Decades of Local Impact
For more than two decades, Fort St. John has proven time and again that small acts of generosity add up to monumental community strength. Whenever local healthcare needs a boost, our city shows up with open arms and full hearts.
Healthcare touches every single one of us. Whether it’s welcoming a new family member into the world, navigating an emergency, or receiving long-term treatment, having advanced, reliable care close to home is invaluable. The funds raised through Light a Moose go directly toward supporting the dedicated healthcare teams, state-of-the-art equipment, and patient comfort initiatives at the Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa.
The Mission: $150,000 for the North Peace
This year, the bar is set high: the goal is to raise $150,000.
Reaching that milestone will provide critical resources for the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation to continue their work supporting local healthcare teams, patients, and their loved ones across the entire region. Every single dollar counts, and every donation—large or small—moves us closer to lighting up the board.
